The human body is designed to heal. If you break a bone or cut yourself, your body knows what to do to repair it. When you get to the point where your body is NOT healing the way it was designed to, there has to be something inhibiting that ability to heal. We refer to these things as stressors, or barriers to healing. These stressors come in the form of nutrition/food stress, immune stress, toxic stress, emotional stress, scar tissue, and genetic stress.
Body Balancing seeks to identify what areas of the body are "weak" (not functioning at full capacity), what stressors are contributing to the weakness, what can be done to remove those stressors from the body, and what specific organ or gland support is needed to aid the body in healing itself.
This technique employs a variety of methods to evaluate the body, as well as barriers to healing, including a detailed system survey, a thorough nutritional consultation, lab work when needed, and muscle testing.
Muscle testing is a simple technique that, in conjunction with other assessment tools, allows the practitioner to determine weakness in the body, the contributing stressors , and what treatments will help to support the body so it can heal. Treatments include Life-Style Changes, Nutritional and Herbal Supplementation, Energy Balancing and other simple techniques designed to bring the body into balance.
Body Balancing focuses on treating patients as a whole by taking into account the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of health. Body Balancing does not treat disease. Rather, it removes blocks and barriers to healing so that the body can heal itself.
